Trials of Life

How much more will Dan Goldstein, 25, gain by selling his soul?

By Tracie Broom

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Rapper/comedian/magician, all in one.

What did you want to be during your most idealistic phase?

In high school and college, I wanted to be an academic (professor, writer).

What are you doing now?

Law student at UCLA.

What do you see yourself doing in five years? 10 years?

I've just developed an interest in gun-control or going to work for a large firm like Latham & Watkins or O'Melveny & Myers.

Does selling out appeal to you financially? Why and why not?

Of course! Big money. I'd start at over $100,000 a year. Pay off loans. Gold pendants, gold teeth, gats!
